Shopping

Although the place is very small, Soajo has a variety of smaller shops. There you can buy everything you need for a longer or shorter stay. You should always have enough cash with you for Shopping (Soajo has an ATM) because most store and even restaurants do not accept card payments

Butcher

On the access to the main square from Av. 25 de Abril is a small butcher located. There you can stock up on meat from the region. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The opening times are somewhat idiosyncratic and you should therefore inform yourself beforehand on site.

General store

Those who stay longer in Soajo can buy everything important, such as gas bottles or barbecue utensils, in the general store in the main square. If you want to buy traditional kitchen appliances, you will also find it there

Souvenirs

There is a small souvenir shop in the main square where you can buy local souvenirs from the region. Most of the souvenirs are still made on site from home

Pharmacy

In the center there is no pharmacy and a health center. Here you can take care of the usual medicine chest and smaller concerns. The nearest hospital is in Ponte da Barca

Grocery store

Near the Espigueiros is one of two small grocery markets in Soajo. in "O Soajo" you can buy everything you need in the appropriate quality. The other grocery store looks a bit improvised at the moment, but is also worth a visit
